nickic said... When we arrived (and found where we should go : in the Cellar) we were warmly greeted. Our painting gear was set up in a ‘windowed’ area of the tasting room all ready for us. The most stressful part was trying to figure out what to paint, but after a wander in the beautiful gardens, we ‘found’ a subject. Served with a glass of our chosen wine (and lovely it was) we started our masterpieces. The time went quickly and we were encouraged with comments from the staff...not sure if the wine really got the artistic juices flowing but at least our scenes were recognisable. A great way to spend some ‘peaceful’ time out of the hustle and bustle of Queenstown...and an added bonus of being in the set of Under the Vines!
