We were delighted to spend the day with Joe as he took us to three lovely wineries around Wanaka. After a traditional Maori greeting, he spent the drive to different places teaching us the Maori and settler history of the Otago region. It is clear he is held in high esteem by the winery owners and staff, who greeted him and us warmly at each location. Delicious cheese platter at Wooing Tree included which was the perfect accompaniment to all the wines we sampled. Honestly it could not have been a more perfect day and we highly recommend it as a unique and authentic Wanaka experience. Thanks Joe!! ~ Andrea and Anne Marie
