The concept 16 yacht is ideal for absolute beginners and experienced sailors alike - it has a weighted keel so it won’t tip over and you won’t get wet.
One or two person yachts are available so you can share in the fun – or go it alone!
We have a race course set up so rent a few and have your own mini Americas Cup competition with your friends!
After experiencing some time on the beautiful fresh water of Lake Taupo, unwind at our bar thats open until 10pm with a cold beverage, hot drink and a famous wood fried Pizza.
We provide life jackets, a safety and instruction briefing and full lessons are also available on request.

나의 첫 솔로 세일링 경험
세계 여러 곳을 여행했지만 요트를 임대해 주는곳은 Taupo가 처음임. 예약을 해두고 이틀 동안 유튜브를 뒤져 혼자 세일링 하는 절차를 습득하였다. 다행히 바람이 약하게 불어 나의 첫 솔로 세일링 2번(오전, 오후)을 무사히 마쳤다. 생각보다 안전하고 조종하기가 쉬웠다. 윈드서핑 경험이 조금은 도움이 되었음. Lake Taupo에서 세일링은 환상적임.

Awesome! Jan was great. The $20 for tuition would be better included in the price or made explicit as an extra cost.

We Have To Do This Again
My husband thoroughly enjoyed this; so much so, that we have to do it again. It was easier to operate than we thought it would be and the 1 hour quickly passed. We sat in the yacht (across and opposite each other which is not usual) but it enabled us to look at each other as we spoke, we felt we balanced the yacht more (even though it is weighted and will not tip over), and he handled the sails whilst I steered the yacht, so it was a great partnership. Next time we intend to sit on the back of the yacht rather than in it.
