    Extra Small, Small to Medium (S/M) or Medium to Large (M/L)

    • Size Extra SmallIs suitable for most people including teenagers and smaller adults from approx. 145cm to 164cm (4'9" to 5'4")
    • Size S/M is suitable for most people from approx. 155cm to 170cm (5'1'' to 5'6'')
    • Size M/L is suitable for most people from height 170cm to 185cm (5'6'' to 6'6")
    • Photos shown are our Cruisy Blue eBikes size S/M and M/L they feature front suspension, lightweight forks, disc brakes, powerful batteries and are designed for easy use and fun adventures
    • The extra small bikes (not pictured) are Giant Momentum bikes, new in 2023 these electric bikes have rigid forks and are ideal for small teenagers and adults.
    • Please note these bikes are not suitable for any Mountain Biking use on Trails above Grade 2, or misuse in the form of jumping or abuse.
    • Credit card and drivers license, or passport is required for bond purposes


    Terms and conditions of bookings are as follows

    Please allow time for a confirmation email to acknowledge drop off and collection locations and times. Please send your contact cellphone number to allow improved service.

    Cancellation policy: Any bookings made more than 24 hours prior to drop-off time can be amended or value of hire credited for use up to 6 months later. A full refund will be given if for any reason Blue Bikes Taupo is unable to deliver ebikes due to staff illness or any other unforeseen issues. For bookings made less than 24 hours no refund will be given for any cancellations.

Happy Customers

We have used Blue Bikes before and this time around same results. Excellent service, the bikes were awsome easy to use and fun. Lachie always goes out of his way to help out. Taupo living the Dream

Excellent service. The ebikes were easy to learn. Lachie spent some time making sure we could control the ebike in a safe manner. It was awsome fun using the ebikes as me and the wife were 1st time users. Lachie dropped the ebikes to our motel and then waited for us to finish and came to pick them up from our motel. We plan to holiday again in Taupo so we can hire the ebikes. Thankyou Lachie for a great experience. Cheers mate see you soon

what a wonderful way to explore Taupo. Booking was easy. Our bikes were delivered to our door at the hotel and we were able to leave them to be picked up after. Easy as! We cycled a long way and went to the huka falls via the bush trail. Thank you for making it so easy.

Lochie was great, very helpful and friendly. He got us organized, made sure we were confident on the bikes, batteries were fully charged and lasted all day. A really fun time riding around the lake front on a sunny day, you can't beat it!
