From beginner to advanced, we have the perfect tour for every rider.

Choose between one of our two exceptional options, either a semi guided ride through the legendary Redwoods MTB park (great for all levels), or the superb Great Lakes Trail fom Waihaha to Kinlock (intermediate level).

We supply luxury shuttle transport, state of the art Ebikes and all the necessary protective equipment.

 

SATURDAY Sensation Redwoods MTB Park:

Experience one of the best mountain bike parks in the Southern Hemisphere with our ultimate semi-guided tour!

Our guides will show you the right tracks for your skill level and monitor your enjoyment and safety from a central location.

The forests of New Zealand are green and lush, and there’s no better way to enjoy then than going to an electrically assisted ride through this wonderland.

Tour Duration: Allow 6.5 hours

Trail Itinerary

9:30am - Meet at Electric Bike Rotorua (1265 Fenton St, Rotorua 3010) for bike fitting and briefing.

10:00am - Drive to Redwoods forest.

10:10am - 3:45pm - Free Ride time. There will be a service to drive to town for a 1-hour lunch break between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.

4:00pm - Return to Electric Bike Rotorua.

 

SUNDAY Super-ride! Great Lakes Trail

Take in the serenity whilst cruising on the most highly rated trail in New Zealand!

This fully-guided ride has it all! Breath-taking lookouts emerge from winding forest paths.

Boardwalks, bridges, waterfalls and beaches – another postcard perfect view appears around each new hill and corner.

This trail really is spectacular, even by New Zealand standards!

 

Price: $249

Tour Duration: Allow 6 hours.

Trail Itinerary:

9:30am - Meet at Electric Bike Rotorua (1265 Fenton St, Rotorua 3010) for bike fitting, familiarisation and briefing.

10:00am - Drive to trail head.

11:00am - 1:00pm - Ride the Waihaha section of the track.

1:00pm - 1:30pm - Boat transfer and break for lunch.

1:30pm - 2:30pm - Ride the Whangamata section of track to the shuttle.

3:30pm - Arrive back at Electric Bike Rotorua.

 

Your Requirements:

You must be able to comfortably ride a bike

You must be 15 years old with a parental guardian, or be a minimum 18 years of age

You must be 160cm or above - this reflects frame sizing on our Ebikes

You must wear closed toe active shoes and comfortable clothing.

 

What we will provide:

Water Bottle (800ml)

Fleece sweatshirt

Electric Bicycle

Helmet

Muesli bars

Backpack to store belongings in whilst riding.

 

Optional Extras:

You may bring your own lunch with you in addition to the muesli bars supplied - or utilise the service drive between 12:30 - 1:30pm.

You may bring a light rain jacket with you in addition to the fleece we provide.

Frankie and Joe are a great team! Very warm and friendly, ready to answer any questions nervous beginners may have giving beginners and experienced riders an awesome time. The bikes are also in Top condition and clearly very well maintained.
