Fox & Hounds Taupo
The Fox and Hounds on Roberts Street Taupo is an old world, Tudor style English pub, serving many a pint and hearty cuisine in a warm and friendly local atmosphere. Their authentic fish and chips are a favorite amongst the locals, alongside the pork belly entree, bangers and mash and Cajun prawn salad. The bar features a decent range of tap beers from craft to standard fare, including Timothy Taylors beer. Cocktails such as Negroni and soft drinks are also available, inside or seated outside. While there is no live music, the atmosphere is lively and convivial, perfect for a night out with friends or family. The Fox and Hounds is definitely worth a visit.
