Our small group tour is the perfect way to escape the crowds and experience the stunning natural wonders of this world-renowned region at a relaxed & enjoyable pace.
We begin the tour with our convenient shuttle service from your Rotorua Accommodation, or, the Rotorua Isite in the town centre.
On route to Rotoiti (20-30 mins from CBD) you’ll enjoy an informative commentary and pass the iconic Okere Falls area before arriving at our kayaking destination.
After a quick tutorial and safety briefing, we’ll head out on the water.
We’ll explore the calm shorelines of this stunning lake, exposing stunning views of the lush surrounds and geothermal activity.
You’ll have the opportunity to relax in the naturally heated stream waters for an authentic geothermal bathing experience while enjoying a complimentary beverage & nibbles.
There will also be ample time to swim and explore the shorelines as well!

Little Slice of Paradise
I can't say enough have incredible this trip was. You begin with a gorgeous drive through the countryside to arrive at the water. The guides were very patient and instructive with us as my husband and I learned to work together in our 2 person kayak. There was plenty of smooth waters and amazing scenery before you get to the bigger body of water and make your way toward a hidden enclave. I don't even want to say what happens from there for fear of ruining the magic, but it's just something any adventurer NEEDS to see. It was majestical. Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime!

Steaming Cliffs Kayak Tour
Amazing experience from start to finish! Very glad we chose to do the steaming cliffs tour at Lake Rotomahana with Paddleboard Rotorua. Our guide Nev was very friendly, patient, and informative - we were newbie kayakers but he made sure we were always comfortable and able to enjoy all the views, which really exceeded our expectations! The pick up service was great too, which was a bonus! Looking forward to doing another tour with these guys already! Thanks a lot!
