About The Lakeland Queen
The Lakeland Queen was built locally in 1986 and modeled on the famous Mississipi riverboats making her ideal for the shallower waters of Lake Rotorua. A genuine stern wheel paddle steamer, she is powered by a 240 hp Cummins diesel engine driving an 8 bladed stern paddle. Unfortunately our booking for breakfast was cancelled and we had to join up with the very busy lunch cruise.(and it had started raining by then) The service was great and the wait staff very friendly. The food was good but by the time we got to dessert, there was very little left, much to the disappointment of our 7 year old.

Sweet Breakfast Cruise
This Cruise was a laid back breakfast cruise which I really enjoyed. Couldnt complain about the breakfast except the bread, which was a hard. Nice scenery, friendly staff. Recommended!
