It's a great location and setting for the pools, which have different ph and temperatures. The facility is spotless and provides for different needs, including a shop and a cafe.
Visited Polynesian Spa during Easter break and it was an unforgettable experience. It was raining, but that didnโt stop us โ soaking in the warm mineral pools with raindrops falling made it even more magical. The lakefront views of Rotorua were stunning, and the water left my skin soft and refreshed. Staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and calming. A perfect wellness retreat, rain or shine. Highly recommend!
I ended up at the Polynesian Spa Pavillion Pools 4x during my 3 weeks in Aotearoa. Once driving all the way from Tauranga, another driving all the way from Matamata and another all the way from New Plymouth!!! I would recommend going in the evenings to get the full vibe. You're essentially just lounging around soooopa chill, relaxing in a number of geothermally heated pools. So if you're on holiday I would say saving the daylight hours for day time type activities then hitting up the hot pools n the evening when you can kick back and relax whilst getting the most natural healing for your body, mind and soul.
Dear Suelang, thanks for the amazing energy in your review โ we love that you made the trip multiple times from all over! Evenings really do have a special vibe here, and itโs great to hear how much you appreciated that. Hope weโll see you again on your next adventure through Aotearoa.
I booked the deluxe spa pools and was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the change rooms and toilets , they really need a good proper clean , I donโt think anyone checks the hygiene standards and n this area . It definately put me off the whole experience
Dear Justin, thanks for your feedback. Weโre sorry to hear the facilities didnโt meet your expectations. Our change rooms are cleaned regularly throughout the day, but weโll pass this on to our team to review and ensure nothing was missed. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
