Joining fellow travelers it's an energizing start to the day as we cruise across the fresh clear waters of Lake Rotoiti to enjoy a soak at the lake edge Manupuria hot pools.

Kick back in total relaxation and just take in the gorgeous surrounds or get involved in some action along the way. There's the opportunity to take the helm, hoist the sails and grind the winches or try your luck with some trout fishing. Keen to cool off and get wet? Then leap off and swim in the fresh clean water of Lake Rotoiti before relaxing in the natural mineral hot pools only accessible by boat.

Your knowledgeable skipper and crew will take time and point out the historic and culturally significant features of Lake Rotoiti and share a few of the local Maori legends.

Tiua has a broad spacious deck with beanbags and bow-nets so you can spread out and relax in style. The luxurious saloon and cockpit provide comfort and shelter to cruise, fish and soak whatever the weather.

Duration: 9am - 11.30am (2 ½ hrs) Daily departures between November 1st and April 30th.

Trout Fishing: Lake Rotoiti is a deep beautiful lake that produces trophy trout throughout the year. Pure Cruise can supply all the equipment you need for fishing. It is important to note however that you will need a fishing license which can be purchased onboard; $22.50 per adult (18+ yrs) and $7.00 per junior (12 - 17 yrs) for a 24 hour license. Child free. (0-11 yrs)

Pure Cruise Sailings depart from Mourea, Okawa Bay, Lake Rotoiti just 20km North of Rotorua. If you do not wish to self-drive to Mourea please select the transport option (extra $25pp) as you proceed to checkout nominating your central Rotorua location for pick-up and drop off.

Sailings confirmed with a minimum 2 full fair adults or equivalent, smaller bookings waitlisted to confirm. Children 15 years & under.
