Blast through narrow canyons, and speed over the crystal clear waters of the upper Waikato River. Experience the thrill and manoeuvrability of this impressive watercraft as your jet boat negotiates tight spins and takes on the Nga Awa Purua Rapids with full V8 power and aggression; surfing the pressure waves and ripping up and down the white water.
The scenery on the river is spectacular and there is ample time to enjoy your amazing surrounds while learning about the wildlife and history of the area.
Rapids Jet is set in the beautiful Aratiatia Scenic Reserve just 15 minutes drive north of Taupo and 50 minutes south of Rotorua and is guaranteed to get the blood pumping.

Rapids Jet
If your heading to Taupo., I highly recommend trying RapidsJet adventure. Fast, fun, and full of adrenaline and the driver named Shannon is really good and knowledgeable- you won't regret it. We had a best time and enjoyed every second. of it.

Excellent Experience and Value
First time on the Rapids Jet last weekend and what a great experience. Friendly and helpful staff and a very humorous driver! The trip was informative and a lot of fun. A jet boat ride in NZ is a must (big thumping V8 engines). I would also say this is a lot of activity and experience for the price. Value all round!
