As we silently cruise out to the carvings on crystal clear water you will be able to view the spectacular scenery from the comfort of your seat.
Our experienced skippers will inform you about the ecological, historical, spiritual and cultural significance of the area as you sail out to the 14-metre high Maori Rock Carvings in Mine Bay. These carvings are only accessible by water. Sail barbary will take you right up close for the perfect photo of Ngatororangi carved into the rock face.
On the trip home, you can jump into the deep blue freshwater lake for a swim or your captain will gladly show you the ropes and you can help hoist the sails or even take a turn at the wheel!
To top it all off, we are licensed or you can BYO (Bring Your Own) food and beverages. Things really couldn’t get more Kiwi.

7.30pm: Sunset Cruise - BYO or bar. All the above inclusions plus music from your playlist. Summer only.

Schöne Segeltour
Bei unserer Tour war es ziemlich frisch, wenn man nicht unbedingt im Sommer unterwegs ist sollte man sich auf jeden Fall warm anziehen. ;-) Man fährt etwas über eine Stunde zu den Carvings. Der Captain hat sich viel mit den Passagieren unterhalten die weiter hinten saßen und sicher interessante Infos und Geschichten erzählt. Vorne hat man davon nichts mitbekommen, was für uns aber kein Problem war. Wir haben auch so einfach die Fahrt genossen. Man kann auch jederzeit auf dem Boot umhergehen und hätte sich so daher auch beim Captain dazugesellen können. Warme Getränke und Kekse kann man sich per Selbstbedienung unter Deck holen. Der Aufenthalt bei den Carvings war tatsächlich recht kurz, aber da natürlich auch noch andere Anbieter sowie Kajaks unterwegs sind die alle die Carvings sehen wollen kann sich da natürlich keiner stundenlang aufhalten. Für uns alles völlig in Ordnung.

Entspannte Seegeltour
Die 2,5-stündige Fahrt auf dem Seegelboot war sehr entspannt. Man fährt zu dem Steingemälde und wieder zurück. Bei der Tour um 10:30 gibt's Tee, Kakao oder Kaffee mit etwas Süßem.

Sehr schöner Ausflug
Optimales Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Tolles Wetter, leider wenig Wind, sodass die Segel kaum genutzt werden konnten. Schwimmen am Maori Felsen war herrlich.
