Attracting visitors from all around the world, the Māori Rock Carvings are truly unique and only accessible by water, towering 14-metres above Lake Taupō.
You'll travel aboard the Cruise Cat, a stylish vessel that has been built for comfort offering warm booths and spacious viewing platforms that get you right up next to the scenery.
Enjoy live commentary and a hot beverage and muffin on board, and keep the kids entertained with colouring, a treasure hunt, or even driving the boat if the skipper allows. The afternoon cruise also includes a trout fishing demonstration where you'll also learn about various fishing options on Lake Taupō.

Great Experience !
We had a great moment with my partner ! The boat is nice, the Staff very welcoming and charming, and it was a really nice day. The Maori rock is also very impressive. I would recommend this 10/10

Entertaining
First time ever on Lake Taupō, captain was very entertaining and informative. Weather was perfect. All the crew were friendly and lovely. HIGHLY reccomended!

We had a wonderful time on the Scenic Māori Rock Carving Cruise with Chris Jolly Outdoors. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making the trip both relaxing and informative. The views of Lake Taupō were stunning, and getting up close to the carvings was definitely a highlight.

Great Lake cruise
Well organised 1 1/2hr cruise. Lovely staff and big catamaran with lots of inside seats as it was raining for part. Saw the rock carving and spent time there. Hot drinks and muffin’s delicious
