Your tour includes a live demonstration of running the dog team using a quad bike on a custom-built track, meet the dogs with times for photos and cuddles after the run. Learn the history of the Siberian Husky and how they came to New Zealand and enjoy refreshments on the deck.
Timberline Racing Siberian Huskies Kennel have over 35 years' experience of owning and training Huskies, including rehoming and being a home for life for these gorgeous dogs! Timberline offers a unique setting where visitors are invited onto the property to mingle with the dogs, learn their characteristics, limitations and suitability as a pet. Learn about Timberline’s philosophy on keeping a pack of Siberian Huskies, how they care for the dogs and how they successfully train and run a sled dog team!

Meeting the Huskies
I had an excellent visit along with my teen daughter (dog-mad) and husband (not so much). Hosts were both welcoming and informative. We loved seeing the demo of husky team pulling sledge - an eye opener with their enthusiasm and speed. Most of all, we really enjoyed the hands on cuddle time with the dogs, which went on far longer and with more freedom to interact than we had expected.

Huskies Tour
We all enjoyed our visit with the huskies and Kobe. Hosts Taniya and Steve are awesome and very informative, was good to learn about the huskies and what they need. Cuddle time with the huskies after the run and talk was great, got some good photos too. Thanks Taniya and Steve for a great afternoon, Shona.
