Something Else!

This tour was just amazing. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. There was no rush to get across to the hot pools (as it is a fair distance) and once there is was just heaven to sit in the pools and watch the sun set. The kids loved jumping off the diving stairs. Kayaking across to see the gloworms watching the stars and constellations above was just magical. Christy was an excellent tour guide and we loved the whole experience. Absolute 5 stars from us!

Evening kayaking / glowworm encounter

Ciara was our guide for the evening. She did an excellent job of explaining what we needed to do to stay safe and enjoy our time on the water. The distances were a little longer than I anticipated, and I do not recommend this kayaking venture for any children less than 12 years old. Our guide had great knowledge of the area and the viewing of the glowworms was quite spectacular

Amazing experience

Terrific evening paddle across to the hot pools and a magical glow worm cave. Our guide was knowledgeable, expert and super friendly. We felt well supported throughout the trip even without much kayaking experience. 5 stars!

What a way to celebrate Christmas Eve!!

Christmas was a bit different for my family as we had a number of people missing so we started a new tradition, and this Christmas eve kayaking experience ticked all the boxes. Despite a bit of drizzly rain, we had a clear still lake, steaming hot pools and a ceiling filled with titiwai (as Ciera, our very knowledgeable Irish guide taught us in Te Reo). My 74-year-old grandfather spent most of Christmas day sharing photos and texting friends----a great experience you should not miss!!! Thank you, Ciera, for giving up your Christmas Eve for us.
