Duration: 2.5 hours
Departures: Summer: 9:00am and 2:00pm. Winter: 12:00 noon.
Location: Turangi, Southern Lake Taupo, New Zealand. 40mins drive from Taupo and 1.5hrs from Rotorua
Restrictions: Minimum age is 10 years old for Whitewater trip with the condition that 10 11 and 12 year olds need to travel with a parent or guardian on a 1 to 1 ratio.

Great day out
All the staff were very friendly and excellent team leaders. The trip down the river was longer than expected (2.5hrs) which was a good thing. My only negative was that the rapids were not as testing as I thought they would be but I guess thats down to the river any recent rainfall. I had a really enjoyable day

Highlight of our trip
From the moment we stepped foot into their turangi facility, we were welcomed and made to feel at home. Staff are amazing!!! Rafting trip was phenomenal, with breath taking views and an awesome crew to experience it with. I high recommend this experience and will definitely be bringing my family and friends back!! Thanks again to the Ben, who was our amazing instructor and the entire team at Tongariro river rafting!!

Go Rafting
Great day, one of the most fun things from our NZ trip. Our raft guide was excellent( forgot his name but from christchurch), and talked and helped us throughout the entire session. Hot choc on the rapids, hot pools after to heat up and hot soup with excellent rafting, what more could you want.
