Excellent

Tour guide was excellent (Hannah). It was very informative and we liked the fact that it is a living village with close family ties to show its authenticity. Would recommend

Excellent experience!

We would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, known as Chief, was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. It was very cool to gain a small insight into how the people of the village lived (and are still living to this day) as well as the geothermal activity of the area, and the history associated with this.

Enjoyable experience

We started the tour with the guide called Chief. He provided is with some history of the village and explaine lot about the thermal springs. After the tour we had a hangi pie and corn for $6.00 plus coffee of course. We then went to to concert that was great and we even managed a short dance. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Great value for money

Nice being welcomed into a real village where people actually live and being shown how they actually use thermal springs on a day to day basis for cooking and washing As well as seeing the geysers in action The cafe is great with food cooked in thermal ovens and at great prices
