Great experience with perfect guidance

Geoffrey is so far the best driver slash guider I have in my trip around New Zealand. You can tell that he loves the city he lives in and he knows around it. In his word, he reads. But no I cannot google out such good stories with perfect demonstration. Not to spoil it for anyone reading the reviews but I was probably the only “know it all” visitor in the wonderland. Also Geoffrey really knows how to avoid the crowds which really helped to get smooth and peaceful experience in the park. Great shout outs to you Geoffrey and literally because of you I stayed one more day just to explore the city!

An out of this world experience

An amazing must do experience. Geoff the driver who picked me up from the motel was a wealth of information about the area and gave me an informative commentary from the time I was picked up until drop off. He also made sure I was at the geyser on time , where a Māori staff member sings a traditional song ,as it only goes off, once a day . Then on to the area where the mud is bubbling away. At the main park area,I felt like I had stepped into another world, with the bubbling waters , steam rising from the ground , craters and lakes that were amazing colours. II wondered around at my own pace. The smell of sulphur is strong in areas. Another “tick off the bucket” list. A must see unique geothermal experience.

Interesting place to see kiwi color pool

Worth to walk around the thermal wonderland but the trip is too short for us. We need longer time to stay there.
