ERIN LEMPRIERE said... This is about the third year we've come and regularly used the rink whilst it is set up here in Taupo. We love that it is on offer and enjoy the atmosphere they create and the wonderful people behind the counters! However the skates are just horrid. They are so so old, often warped in shape, many of them barely buckle up and many have super rusted blades. There are limited sizes for adults too so having so squeeze into skates (that are inadequate already) ruins the experience to be honest. I realise it has been tough times for such event organisations but it's just getting ridiculous that the same terrible skates keep coming back. People spend a decent amount per head and I would expect something a bit better than this!
