Great Value for money.... plus fantastic scenery

The rain started, trips not cancelled ( always a bonus ), if anything the rain added to the value of these trips....... rushing water in the glow worm caves was awesome!! The Milford Sound was a wash in water falls, with the 5 main waterfalls showing there majesty. We went close/bow into 2 waterfalls!! note waterproof gear or change of clothes needed. The drive out there, at a comfortable pace, with a few stops was 2 hours, including a 10 minute wait at the Homer tunnel. It did not rain the whole time and lots of photos taken. Take snack food, prices are ridiculously high (to be expected IMO).

Awesome Stay!

Thanks so much Sarah for letting us stay at your back this wkd. We all loved your house and made ourselves at home straight away. Super close to everything in the Te Anau - all within walking distance. Sarah’s house is very homely, immaculate and we were definitely disappointed to leave! Will definitely recommend this place. We’ll stay here next time we come to! Cheers, REBECCA & the family xo

Milford Sound was an amazing experience. The cruise will take you out of reality to Jurassic Park. Experienced crew and capitan, who were telling us a lot about the whole place. Definitely will do it again. Glowworms cave experience was nice, but we were kind of rushed through the cave, not allowed to take a picture and we had about 5 minutes at the end to drink the “complimentary tea”. But it was nice to learn about the cave and worms. Milford Sound deserves 10 stars, Glowworm Cave 3 stars.
