We were lucky enough to do our early afternoon cruise after morning rain. There were literally hundreds of temporary waterfalls flowing down the cliffs along both side of the sound all the way out to the Tasman Sea. Our captain got us as close to several and his personal commentary was both educational and at times humorous. I highly recommend the Nature Cruise. If you are booking at short notice, I suggest you check the weather forecast for the week ahead and book the following rain. You won't regret it.
Great staff, great experience with dolphins and seals, ended earlier than expected
Of all of the places I've been and seen in this world, Piopiotahi (Milford) has to be in the top 3. It is absolutely stunning! The cruise was great, but as an indigenous woman of this land I would have appreciated more Māori history.
Great

Milford Sound Nature Cruise
Choosing the first trip of the morning was a real win as it was much quieter both in the boat and on the water. The guide was very informative and the staff were all lovely. Being on a smaller boat meant we could get right up close to the waterfalls. Fantastic morning out!
