I would appreciate it more if you asked . . .
I booked with Real Journey because of previous reviews - knowledgable driver who shared their stories and knowledge along the trip. I traveled with 3 other persons who speak and understand English only. We want to know more about this part of New Zealand and we were willing to pay more for it. I understand the company makes the best effort to provide their service to people from all over the world who speak different languages. I am disappointed to learn that the decision was made based on my last name. Because of that, I was grouped with a non-English speak group. The ironic part was that we were not the only group on the bus who speak and understand English only. Bless the non-speaking guide, he tried his best to cater to the non-English speaker, English speaker and multi-lingual speaking customers. May I suggest the company ask their customer what language they prefer at booking to avoid disappointment. After all, we are all paying the same fees. Don't assume please.
