Join us for an unforgettable moonlight encounter with New Zealand's national icon, the kiwi!

Highlights

  • 4 Hour moonlight Kiwi encounter
  • Kiwi sighting guarantee
  • Scenic evening cruise across Paterson Inlet
  • Guided Nature walk

As the daylight fades to dusk we’ll embark across the calm waters of the Paterson Inlet and experience a relaxing cruise to Little Glory Cove.

Throughout the journey, you’ll hear about the fascinating history of the region and other points of interest along the way.

Once we arrive at Little Glory Cove we’ll set off on an immersive guided nature walk across the peninsula and into the Kiwi's home territory.

We’ll venture by moon and torchlight through the dense native forest to the peninsula’s remote beach where we often see the nocturnal Kiwi feeding and searching for food.

Our nature guide is knowledgeable, friendly and more than happy to answer any questions you may have throughout this magical experience.

The track is approximately 45 minutes each way and is a truly amazing journey into the world of New Zealand’s rare and most treasured icon.

After the walk we reboard the catamaran for a relaxed cruise back to our base.
