Freedom kayaking allows you to kayak at your own pace and away from the crowds. No experience is required and the friendly team at KG Kayaks will provide you with a comprehensive safety briefing and a plan for your trip, helping you to make the most out of your kayaking adventure.
The Ohiwa Harbour, a natural inlet on the Bay of Plenty coast, boasts calm waters, a vast array of marine and wildlife and many islands making it the ideal location for a kayaking trip.
Have your camera at the ready as the harbour is teeming with rays and other fish species and if you’re lucky you may even catch a glimpse of Orca and NZ Fur Seals who visit the Harbour occasionally.
Freedom Kayaking in the Ohiwa Harbour is a fun activity suitable for all ages and a great way to discover this beautiful part of New Zealand.
Price: $100 Per Double Kayak (price is for a double kayak for two people)

Disorganized
Please check with them the address first, it is not the one on bookme, and neither the one on their website. Be prepare to wait. They are really nice, but also really disorganized.

Fabulous experience
Very nice harbour for kayaking at Ohiwa. Kenny gave good guidance on where to go. Really enjoyed our first kayaking.
