No better way to spend your school holidays than bringing the kids to our kid-specific surf camps. Our focus will be on teaching the kids water safety and great foundational surfing skills. Parents are welcome to hang out at the beach, watch their kids shred the waves, take photos, or explore the beautiful town of Mount Maunganui. Our internationally qualified instructors have lifeguard & first aid qualifications, and heaps of experience so you can be confident your kids will be well looked after.

These camps are in demand, we recommend booking in advance to secure your kids spot. Students will be in a small group of just 4-6 kids per instructor to ensure personalized instruction.

Notes

  • Who its for: Beginner and intermediate kids ages 7-15

    Times available: 9am to 1pm / Monday - Friday / School Holidays

    Duration: 4 hours

    1.5hr kids lessons for ages 7-15. 1 day on a designated day. Boards and wetsuits are provided. Up to 6 students per instructor. Depending on the ability, size, and confidence of a student; the parent or guardian of that student may be advised to assist. Safety precautions may be put in place if the parent or guardian is unable to assist. This helps maintain a safer and more productive learning environment. Lesson criteria will vary depending on the ability and needs of the group. If the lesson is cancelled due to conditions, it will be rescheduled for a day that suits the whole group. If a student misses a lesson with 24hr notice, they may attend a daily camp lesson to make up. Under certain circumstances, at the discretion of management or the instructor, policies and procedures may be customized.

  • Please Note:Lessons require a minimum of 2 passengers to go ahead - single bookings are wait listed to confirm

    Please bring a towel, swim wear, sunscreen and water.
