  • Depart Tauranga via Coromandel Coast

Fly past the iconic Mauao (Mount Maunganui) heading up the coast to the Coromandel. During your flight, you will see loads of beautiful private bays and absorb the views of the vast inner Tauranga harbour keeping your eyes peeled for sea life during the summer season. As you arrive at the coast the scenery changes to imposing cliffs over heavenly isolated beaches. Landing on a beautiful secluded beach you will be able to get out and walk around and take some great selfies, enjoy a light refreshment before heading back towards Tauranga while your pilot provides you with knowledge over the local area. Head inland over dense bush and farmland to the Waihi Gold Mine you won't miss it as it 1km wide and 260m deep! The best way to witness the mine is from above, so you'll have the best seat in the house, the flight returns via the imposing Tauranga harbour and Matakana farmlands.
