Hidden Gem

Always been curious on our way past & now we know - a great experience for our whole family ages 9 to 15 & Mum & Dad. Could easily cater for the smaller ones too. Will definitely be back.

Good family fun albeit........

Good family fun albeit the mats for the slide was broken, there weren’t enough, most of them were broken. You had to wait for mats, nothing in the box down the bottom of the slide. Disappointed in the amount of Pedallos, if I remember rightly there were only 3, no proper queues for them and so you end up waiting forever for them. Waimarino claims to have had only 3 Pedallos as it would crowd the area and potentially cause issues but the kayaks are in abundance, this makes no sense at all! Took this up with Waimarino as well. If you know there is a problem with broken carpets and you know the place is quite popular and it gets quite full, do something about it earlier, don’t wait till mats are totally tattered and torn!

Lack of rubber mats and pedallos

Lovely place for the family to spend a day but the rubber mats and pedallos were too little given the amount of people who went on Saturday, 13 March. They should really invest in heap of mats (decent ones, because most of them were broken) and more pedallos. For the amount of people who attended on Saturday, there were far too little and so waiting time would be an hour plus!!! Very disappointed in that though.
