Good experience - but only 40 Minutes

It's a 40 min rafting tour. Most of the tour is a class 2-3, except the waterfall drop (class 4-5). The equipment is really good, staff members are professional. The tour is good for everybody, even beginners. Experienced rafting guests may be disappointed, so don't expect too much and enjoy the waterfall drop. Transfer from Rotorua is NOT included. They charge you 20 NZD return. Photos on a USB stick are 40 NZD.

From Wet n Wild Rafting - Grade 5 Kaituna River

Hi Torsten, Glad you enjoyed your trip and were impressed by our fabulous guides! We do indeed provide free shuttles..... for customers who paid full retail for their trip. When you only pay $55 for a $99 trip, we cant really afford to throw in a free shuttle, sorry! Still $20 there and back to Rotorua is better than an $80 taxi fare :-) Sorry the trip is not longer, its a short raftable section of the we can do The rap[id after the finish is Grade 6 so we wont be doing that to make the trip longer LOL If you would like a longer, more exciting rafting trip, come raft the Wairoa, a very exciting Grade 5 river of around 1.5 hours rafting!

Great staff, great experience

Amazing staff who made me feel very comfortable and good at getting different groups of people of different countries of origin to work well together. Felt very safe the whole time and was given tips about rafting and the general area.

Great experience

The Kaituna River rafting is an awesome experience which everybody should make who’s around Rotorua. The staff of Wet n Wild is very friendly, funny and capable. The rafting course itself is quite varied, so that it stays exciting for the whole time. The highlight is the 7m waterfall. Although I fell out of the boat, it was not a big deal. Moreover this was the funniest part! So, don’t be afraid and go raft yourself! It’s worth its price.
