but didn't get to swim with them. Yup, it's not guaranteed, but still disappointing nonetheless. Rating 3 stars always feels harsh but in reality, it's better than average. If we got to swim with them, would easily be 5 stars but due to many juvenile dolphins we didn't get to swim. We did get to swim with seals though who were chilling at the island of our lunch spot. Nice crew, endless tea and coffee and a well needed sausage sizzle for lunch. You do spend 8ish hours on a boat though, and most of that time we were seeing nothing, so bring a book / a well charged cellphone /whatever to keep you entertained. Some may get very bored in the in-between of the dolphins part.
Being surrounded by hundreds of them at the end was awesome though.
