Peddling as much or as little as you like, discover Pencarrow Head’s lighthouses and lakes, travel along with amazing views of Wellington’s coastline, and the Kaikoura ranges. Travel as far as the SS Paiaka Wrek, explore side trails, with time to stop for a picnic lunch by the lake.
All bikes are specifically chosen for local trail conditions, with Wildfinder using only modern electric mountain bikes that are complete with comfy gel seats, front suspension, and quality components. All bikes are customised to the rider's height and preferences, with helmet included.

Hi Jade, Thanks so much for your review. I'm sorry there was a problem with your seat post during your ride, which meant that you couldn't have it at the right height for riding. I have now fixed the issue so it doesn't happen again (there was a problem with the seat clamp which has now been replaced) - I know this doesn't help with your experience, but thank you so much for drawing my attention to it at the time so we could sort it out immediately. Great experience
Had a fabulous time cycling in the Pencarrow Coast Trail - I had a great advice from the Wildfinder team on how to use the bike, trail information and other tidbits. Had zero trouble in terms of booking. Will recommend it to others.

Pencarrow bike on a rainy day
The staff and bikes are awesome. The trail is great, next to the sea…. On a good day you can’t really ask for better or even a cloudy day would be very good but as we booked on advance so no change or cancellation possible within 24 hrs so we went when it was raining and a bit cold. The waves were great but we did have a great experience, as it was unpleasant (rain hitting your face and we were wearing rain gear but became humide underneath….. so probably would have been better to just not go and wait for a cloudy day or better a nice sunny day to go for it. If you are use to tramping in the rain then you might enjoy it on a rainy day but city people or first time electric bike rider should probably just let the money go and wait for better weather to really enjoy and have a great experience as it is a stunning trail, with great bike and awesome staff.

Adventure out.
It was a great experience. We had picked a perfect day, with little wind, making it enjoyable. The only thing was that they had run out of my size bike, even though I had made a booking. I had to go up a size, which was a little big. I recommend going early so you don’t miss out on correct sizes. But it was a great day out and I would recommend it.

Problem with equipment but nice landscape
I noticed too late that my saddle was too low. Even with the battery, it was impossible to cycle on the hills. The weather wasn't nice but it was pretty and quiet. I highly recommend thi activity. My advice is check everything before leaving. 4 hours is a good amount of time to explore the area
