All escape rooms are built to the highest quality and built in-house to ensure a unique and memorable experience. The rooms are designed in a non-linear fashion to encourage team work and communication, ensuring that even large teams have plenty of space and puzzles to work on through your mission!

The Ancient Temple: Difficulty Level: 7/10

A great option, recommended for smaller teams of 4-6 players. An Ancient Temple has recently been unearthed beneath the streets of Wellington, the excavation has triggered the awakening of the Ancient Death Gods who are now just 60 minutes away from rising again and bringing about the end of days. You and your team must solve the puzzles and riddles of the ancient temple ruins and find a way to put the Death Gods back to sleep and prevent the Apocalypse!

The Spaceship: Difficulty Level: 8/10 for teams of 4-10 players, 7/10 for teams of 10-16 players

An epic, high-tech adventure, recommended for larger teams of 4-16 players. Wellington's ONLY fully automated Escape Room! Back in the 1930's Wellington was lucky to escape a failed alien invasion, to keep the secrets of the spaceship safe, the government buried the wreckage in a bank vault under the streets of the city. Now, the ship has awoken, and is sending out a distress beacon, signalling the return of the Alien Armada, your squad has 60 minutes to enter the Spaceship, solve the puzzles and technology of the Spaceship and find a way to disengage the beacon before the invading army returns!

Atlantis: Difficulty Level: 9/10

Our newest and most difficult room, recommended for larger teams of 4-16 players. A great option for those looking for a real challenge! A freak earthquake has brought up a mysterious wreckage from a lost vessel, The HMS Calypso, the ship charged with finding the secrets of Atlantis! You and your team have 60 minutes to enter the wreckage, find the entrance to Atlantis and recover the Mighty Crystal, a mysterious jewel that can revive the Atlanteans from the abyss and bring us into a new era of humankind!

Restrictions

Minimum age: 8
Players aged under 12 years old will need at least 1 adult supervising inside. All people within the escape room will be charged.

Notes

Booking Start Time: Please select your preferred time slot when booking. Once your booking is complete, the operator will contact you to confirm booking start time.
Morning: 9:30am-11:30am
Early Afternoon: 11:30am-2:30pm
Late Afternoon: 2:30pm-5:30pm
Evening: 5:30pm-8:45pm
Please Note: The start time for your game will be within the time slot selected.

Preferred Escape Room: Please select your preferred escape room through checkout. Escape Mate will try their best to accommodate, however this is dependent on availability and the preferred room is not guaranteed.
Accessibility: The Atlantis escape room is wheelchair accessible, while the Spaceship and the Ancient Temple are not wheelchair accessible.
Booking Conditions:
Teams that arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled booking start time will have their games cancelled, and no refunds or rescheduling will be available.
Cancellation period is 48 hours prior to scheduled booking start time, including a reduce in team numbers. Players who arrive with fewer team members will not be given a refund or credit for those who couldn't make it. These conditions are in addition to Bookme T&Cs.
Extra players can be added on the day of your booking, provided the room isn't at maximum capacity. Extra players on the day will be charged full price $45.00 per person.
No multiple vouchers allowed per booking (2 or more BookMe vouchers or a mix of BookMe and another discount voucher). Only 1 discount voucher allowed per booking.

Temple Eacape

So much fun. We did the 7/10 difficulty with 4 active players. We escaped with mere minutes. Still counts! When you get in to the flow of it a rhythm happens and it's such a introverts adrenaline rush. The room is smallish but easily a lot of space to get the clues. This was FUN!!!
