More than just flying a plane, the course covers everything you need to know about being a glider pilot including briefings, primary gliding exercises , ground operations , airfield safety and of course flying a plane!
Our groups consist of no more than 3 students plus an expert instructor, allowing for ample one on one attention and plenty of opportunities to ask the instructor and club members questions.
Put your new found knowledge into practice as you take to the skies with your instructor, flying over the beautiful countryside before taking over the controls and flying the glider plane yourself - you'll get approximately 40 - 60 minute or air time including 2 - 3 winch launches!
The entire experience is intensive yet highly rewarding and fun! At the end of the day, you'll receive a safety certificate recording your flights giving you ultimate bragging rights, and your passion for flying will have surely been re-ignited!
