Spend 2 hours of pure delight in stunning South Wairarapa countryside, as you feel the earth thumping beneath you and your horse.

Riversdale Station is home to Heavenly Horse Treks and has been in the family of your hosts Ben and Georgie Lutyens since 1842. It stands as one of the earliest farmed stations in New Zealand.

You’ll find a stable of meticulously selected horses, both for their temperament and character. With Station bred, Quarter horse, Standard bred, Appaloosa, Paint and Clyde, there’s a horse to fit you!

Stock and game roam free on the station, there’s hardly a gate and few fences. The tracks are never ending, with wide open riverbeds, rolling hills and views that just don’t stop. You will be guided by a friendly and knowledgeable equine expert.
