Half-day foodie experience in the wonderful Wairarapa. Enjoy a guided tour of some of the best foodie stops in the Wairarapa region including locally
made cheese, chocolate and wine.
Picking you up from Wellington we head off over the Remutaka Ranges where you can enjoy a sightseeing stop with spectacular views at the top of the 555m high summit.
Our first foodie stop on the tour is at C'est Cheese factory and cafe which includes a locally made cheese tasting platter.
Heading off to our next destination for a sweet treat tasting at Schoc Chocolates where chocolatier Murray Langham handcrafts award winning gourmet chocolates.
A trip to the world-class wine making region wouldn't be complete without a visit to one of the wineries. Here you will get to enjoy a tasting flight of some of their finest wines.
Our final destination is the Martinborough Memorial Square where you will have the choice for one last tasting stop from Olivo - extra virgin and infused olive oils, Martinborough craft brewery paddles, a local vineyard or cafe lunch, The Martinborough Sweet Shop or the Wine Bank.
This last stop is seasonal, subject to availability and at your own expense.
Thanks for the great review Varnika, much appreciated. Delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour.
Very nice day out to enjoy some food & wine with various stops on the way. The Olivo (olive oil tasting) is well worth a stop. We found this trip great for the time it was without an early start or late finish. We will definitely do more tours with this company.
It was my pleasure to host you on tour and I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to hosting you on your next visit.
Good experience and good commentary. would Just suggest to leave the group to themselves at mealtime as just felt a wee bit awkward with someone not eating or drinking !!! But all good , cheers!
Thanks for the feedback which I will take on board. Delighted to hear you enjoyed the experience. It was a pleasure to host. Cheers!
Cheese platter is amazing, from local cheese maker and local store. Taste difference flavours of chocolate that unique and you never taste before. Than, we went to Poppies for wine tasting which only available at door cellar. The final, we can explore Martinborough in your own time or grab some lunch. We also learn the history of the area.
Thanks for the review and delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour!
