Te Papa and Weta Workshop have collaborated to bring you a visually stunning representation of the Battle of Gallipoli.

This is your opportunity to experience this exhibit in the peace and stillness of the museum 30 minutes before we open the doors to the general public.

One of our hosts will provide you with a quick introduction and then you will be able to explore this exhibit at your own leisure and afterwards check out the rest of the museum.

Guided Tour just made everything better. As if the war actually came alive. Exhibit was fantastic. I took my time and enjoyed every bit of history and interactive parts

Extra special

We had been to see Gallipoli before but not with our grown children. It was awesome having the exhibit to ourselves but the best part was having Anna as our guide. The extra knowledge she shared was a special gift that was priceless. Thank you 😊
