A great overnight experience
Other than rough boat trips (due to strong winds), a great experience that we would highly recommend to others.

Special place with caring stewards
Amazing island and an incredible 2 days. You are not staying for the modest accommodations -- you are fortunate to visit this special place. The hosts are a friendly, caring family and responsible stewards. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations for our dietary requests (vegan).

Emerge in nature
Fantastic experience - Kapiti is a beautiful island with abundant birds and the people from Kapiti Island Nature Tours really made our trip unforgettable. They were so welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. If you are into birds or nature in general, this tour is not to be missed.

Birds, Bush & Manaakitanga
Kapiti Island is a very special place. The chance to see and hear so many of our wonderful birds was wonderful. Our hosts were fabulous with their care of us, their stories, the accommodation, the wonderful food. I very much appreciated been able to experience the wonders of Kapiti Island.

Highlight of My Trip
One of the best experiences here in NZ. Pania was very knowledgeable and hospitable, the accommodation was comfortable, the island peaceful, the food more delicious than expected, and most importantly, we managed to see a Kiwi bird!!!
