These pools are in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our soak. Staff very friendly and everything very clean.

Summertime at hot pools

Beautiful setting and 3 pool temperatures meant that we didn’t overheat on a hot day. Lots of individual nooks and crannies made you feel like you were the only ones there at times. The changing and shower areas were top rate too. Why 4 not 5 stars. A strange “no photos “ rule stopped us from sharing our memories with friends and family back home. Weird in this day and age.

You can’t take a photo by yourself inside the pools. They have beautiful place with a beautiful view, but you cannot registering this.

Sitting in a warm bath whilst the rain falls on you. Nothing to see. No lockers free. Changing room benches full of peoples stuff. Showers ok. Not worth the money. If it’s raining go have a few drinks but don’t waste your money here.

From Franz Josef Glacier Hot Pools - Main Pool Entry

Kia Ora Kevin, Thank you for your review and feedback. I am saddened to hear the Glacier Hot Pools did not meet your expectations at this time. We really believe it is a wonderful place to come and relax, especially when it is raining. Apologies if you were not told in your briefing for the pools, but there are indeed lockers in the change room or free shelving around the main pool areas. Safe Travels. Ngā mihi, Aimee
