Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealandâs longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.
For those who wish for a taste of luxury - try the private pools, sauna, steam rooms, and the luxurious spa. It's all here in an atmosphere that cannot help but reset the balance in lifeâŠ

The perfect day out for all ages
Hanmer springs is always a fantastic day for everyone. Young and old alike cant fail to find something to make them happy here. The kids enjoyed the kids play area, the teens enjoyed the slides and we enjoyed some time in the adults only pools đ plus the cafe has a great selection at reasonable prices.

Relaxing
Great place for all family. We enjoyed the soak for about 2 hours. The different temperatures were good to test out.

Overcrowded
A stunning location a beautiful area well laid out well serviced but if you want peace and tranquility donât go in the school holidays. It wasnât enjoyable at all and we were really looking forward to it both in our late 60s and we just wouldâve loved to lie and soak in the pool, but it was just Crazy. I think itâs a shame they donât have maybe an hour in the evening or two hours in the evening where itâs adults only I also didnât realise they had private pools so will definitely go again but not in holiday time.

Was well worth the stop over in Hanmer
We detoured through to Hanmer just for the Hot Springs. It was well worth the detour. Got our own private spa which we enjoyed immensely.
