한국에선 경험할 수 없는 새로운 경험이고, 신기하다! 일찍 빨리 예약해서 300불 때로 예약하세요! 400불때는 좀 비싼거 같아요 하지만 값어치 있습니다! 옷이랑 신발 양말 장갑까지 다 빌려주니 좋고 정말 좋았어요!!

Hi there, Thank you for leaving us a review. We do recommend booking the Heli Hike as soon as you know you wish to participate as it does sell out extremely fast. We provide all the waterproof layers, hiking boots and crampons, gloves and socks. Guests need to wear 2-3 warm layers on the upper body, lightweight trousers or shorts (no jeans). They can bring their own gloves but we also have these in case guests do not have these. Thank you again for your review, Kind Regards, The West Coast Team

Franz Josef HELI HIKE
General speaking it was ok. However, the reception was not a professional staff. When I said I came from Taiwan, she tried to gave me Tail language manual. She don't know Taiwan and Thailand are different countries. Further more, I was speak English with her, but she use goodle translate to translate English to Chinese to talk to me. OMG, I never meet such unprofessional staff and feel very unrespectful by her serviced.

Cancelled twice because of weather
Cancelled because of bad weather, received an email and re booked for the next day. Checked emails in the morning, no cancellation email. Drove 2 & half hours to Franz Josef Glacier to check in only to be told it was again cancelled. We had received no emails or phone calls. I asked why and they said if they had to do that for one customer they’d have to do that for them all?! YES you should!!! When your customers are paying almost $500 each its the least I’d expect. A 5 hour round trip for nothing. Were asked if we wanted to rebook, we said no thanks.

Sometimes we are able to cancel the Heli Hike earlier than expected when we receive the weather call from our pilots however some days the weather is incredible hard to gauge and we do not know until the check-in time if we are able to operate. 다시 한 번 경험하고 싶은 경험.
일단 100키로그램 넘는 돼지로써 체력적으로 부족할까 걱정했는데 중간중간 가이드분이 길을 직접 만들기 때문에 대기시간이 충분히 길어서 땀한방울 안흘렸다. 빙하가 점점 작아지고 있다는데 안타까우면서 환경문제에 대한 생각이 머리에 각인이 되는 멋진 경험이였음.
