Offering a unique perspective of life with the birds high in the ancient Rimu and Kamahi tree canopy, the canopy walk offers quite simply breathtaking vistas and an insight into canopy eco-systems. Easy access for all to enjoy along a steel platform 20 metres high and over 450 metres long.
This is a totally unique experience in New Zealand and offers the only opportunity to see New Zealand's famous rain forests from the "top down". Come and enjoy a leisurely 45 minute to one hour stroll, listen to the native bird song and take a moment to "hear the quiet"!

balade dans la canopée
Promenade à 20 mètres du sol très belle et très documentée. Attention le parc ferme à 4 PM et il faut bien compter 1h30 pour profiter pleinement du site.

Really great experience for anyone who likes to take in nature. It's a short easy walk, go at your own pace. The tower is a winner with kids. Staff actually have manners and are happy for you to be there.

A fascinating glimpse of life above the treetops
Strong & sturdy metal pathways take you through the canopy with plenty of pauses to learn about the flora, fauna, geology & history of the area. Feels very safe despite being so high up - just bring a strap for your phone or camera as it’s a long way to drop it!!!
