What others say:

Great surfing lessons!

Great introduction in surfing, with some theory beforehand. When we hit the water Mark kept an eye on everyone and was telling what went right and wrong. We were only with 4 people so it almost felt like a private lesson. Go here if you're looking for some proper guidance in getting to stand up on the board. ?

Lovely experience!

This was a really good introduction to surfing! The teachers are very experienced and try to teach you some proper surfing skills unlike many other companies. After that you head to the beach with your teacher and get some further advice and good help from them. The last hour you are free to practice to surf as you like.Weird they left us alone then and did not say goodbye properly though. Overall I would recommend it! Tauranga Bay is a beautiful and challenging but manageable place to try surfing for the first time.

Awesome dude, awesome time.

Had a blast - one-on-one. He's chill, cool and funky. Love it. Some cool perspectives on surfing and he knows how to pinpoint your errors and offer solutions. Would recommend.

Mark was great, I didn’t turn up 15 mins early as suggested therefore he wasn’t at the address given but his lovely wife gave us simple instructions to find him at the beach. I have never surfed and I actually stood up, thanks to Mark and all his amazing knowledge. I feel like I might need to buy a board, lots of confidence building on the land before hitting the water, give it a go!
