Once in a lifetime experience, with 2 landings!
We booked a plane/heli combined flight at Mt Cook with Inflite but got cancelled due to bad weather so we tried again at Franz Josef. Several companies operate there with near-identical pricing, but only Glacier Country Helicopters has a 60 min ride with 2 snow landings so we went for it. Absolutely fabulous experience to fly low over the glaciers, between the mountain tops and finally land on 2 glaciers. The first (Mannering) had soft powder snow, great for snowball fights and snow angels. The second (Shackleton) had hardpack, good for pictures and strolling around. Our pilot Gus was excellent. Highly recommended!

Glacier Helicopter Tour
Fantastic flight to a Spectacular wonder of the world. Felt very safe, secure and in good hands. Dion, the Pilot was awesome. Very professional, friendly and full of knowledge. Was well worth every cent. Would highly recommend.
