Waiheke Wine and Craft Beer Tour - Including Platter Lunch

Get away from it all for a lazy afternoon on Waiheke Island, just a 40-minute ferry ride from Downtown Auckland.

Waiheke offers not just premium wine, but an arsenal of top quality craft beer. Enjoy it all as your host tours you around some of the best spots, complete with a platter lunch to top off your taste buds.

Around Waiheke brings you a fun, laidback tour, where all is asked of you is to kick back and have a great time while taking in the incredible vistas as you find your way around this beautiful island.

Your host will meet you at Matiatia ferry terminal after your cruise from Downtown Auckland.

First off the list is Dellows, here you will savour a tasting of some wines, a liqueur and your tasty platter.

Your Platter may include a selection of the following;

Salmon, Salami, Kapiti Cheeses, Olives, Grapes, Quince Jelly, Ploughman’s Chutney, Dried Apricots, Breads or Crackers

We then set off for Boogie Van Brewing. Chief Brewer Rick is a big fan of American West Coast style beers. Here we will take in a tour of the micro-brewery and sample 4 craft beers.

Our final stop will be one of Waiheke’s leading vineyards for tastings of world class wines.

You can then opt to be returned to the Matiatia ferry terminal for your return journey or be dropped off in Oneroa if you intend to stay on the island for a while.

Please note: Because our wine and beer tours visit licensed premises, these tours are restricted to people over the age of 18. We DO NOT allow children on our tours.

Price: $179.00 Per Adult - includes tour, tastings and platter lunch.

Waiheke Beer and Wine Tour

Good Tour. Would recommend. Picked up at ferry terminal in little bus, driven around island to first tasting. Light meal provided there. All 3 tastings were informative and fun, and all different which I liked.

What a great trip

Easy pick up, lovely driver and the wineyards were great, also fun to visit a brewery for something a little different. We went early morning which gave us lots of time before the 2pm start to explore the island.
