Nice trip

The trip on the boat is about 1h15. Once you arrive to ship cove, there's not much to see so we starter the track. On arrival at Furneaux lodge, there is a restaurant if you want to have a drink or something to eat. You can relax until the boat picks you up. Onboard, you'll have complimentary tea or coffee. The way back is a bit long but it's worth it. I think it's the most beautiful part of the queen charlotte track.

Soaking up nature

A really beautiful and not too challenging walk on the Queen Charlotte track! An amazing way to start my journey on the South Island after passing through the sounds with the boat.

Best Trip ever!

Before the trip I was scared to get seasick. But that is not a problem at all because you are not at open sea. The captain stoped everytime for pictures when we have seen animals that are worth it to stop. And about that point we had so much. We have seen pinguins, seals, dolphins and orcas!!! Best day ever! And the captain also let us know some facts about the region. That was great.
