This was not the case however it’s a great walk and easy doable even if you are almost 64. However I did feel sorry for other hikers who arrived by a different company later than scheduled and leaving an hour earlier than our boat. It meant they almost ran the first have of the track until they got past all the summits ( low ones) this meant that they were stressed and did not get to enjoy the beautiful part of the track that is virgin forest. Beachcombers were awesome to travel with
