This exciting guided day trip will take you off the beaten track, where nobody else goes, and is the perfect tour if you want to spend the day swimming in waterfalls, rivers, surf beaches, lakes, lagoons and caves!
Experience swimming in crystal clear waters, rock-scrambling, hiking, sand-dune sliding and cave exploring – All that’s required is a sense of fun and adventure!
All of our tours are on Black Sand beaches surrounded by truly spectacular scenery.
We are a small group (never more than 12 people) adventure tour.
We will conveniently pick you up from central Auckland and tailor the adventure level to your liking. You will be able to choose two exciting locations for your adventure which include amongst others Kitekite Falls, The Fairy Falls, Piha Beach, Muriwai Beach and Lake Wainamu.
Our guides will be on hand to capture hundreds of free photos and they will also keep you safe as you enjoy your day with us.

Auf jeden Fall machen!!!
Super tolle Tour, absolut sehenswert! Man kommt an Orte die sonst kein Touri zu Gesicht bekommt. Die Tour wird vom Abenteuerlevel an die Fitness der Teilnehmer angepasst. Wenn ihr in Auckland seid und mal was Besonderes erleben wollt, bucht diese Tour! Selbst bei Regen ein riesen Spaß.

Great day trip
Very small group tour that felt like friends. We had time for hiking and swimming near some gorgeous coastal sites at and near piha Beach. I would definitely take this tour again!

Fantastic!
We don't normally like tours as we're pretty outdoorsy and have found we get much more value out of doing things ourselves. But we were in Auckland for only 2.5 days so we had to be efficient. We had heard great things about the West coast+the Wiatakere ranges from others, so did quite a bit of googling ahead of time, we called up black sand adventures and talked to Shaun and decided to book it. I can honestly say this was the best day tour I've been on. The itinerary will depend on everyone's skills, adventurousness and the weather. We got lucky with a beautiful sunny day and a cooler afternoon, with rain coming in as we were leaving. It was perfect for everything we did: ocean (neat secluded beach that we wouldn't have found ourselves), then hiked to a beautiful lunch spot, (no words to describe it), took off and hiked a bit of the Waitakere Ranges (swam at the waterfall with Pictures to prove it :). Absolutely loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it.

Amazing day out!!
If you want to see beautiful places with some adventure thrown in...this is the tour for you!! Shaun is a brilliant guide and makes the day really fun, taking photos along the way (free of charge ?). After 4 weeks in new zealand, this is my favourite day so far! Highly reccommend

Shaun fragt die Gruppe, was sie machen möchte und achtet darauf, dass jeder auf seine Kosten kommt. Wir waren eine total gemischte Gruppe, so blieben einige am Strand während die anderen über Kliffen kletterten Jede Tour ist anders, Shaun ist so extrem erfahrener und sehr sympathischer Guide! Es macht richtig großen Spaß! Lohnt sich total die Tour zu buchen
