Once we have collected you from your central Auckland accommodation we start our journey with a visit to the Arataki Visitor Centre where you will find traditional Maori carvings along with fantastic views over the rainforest and Auckland's southern harbour.

Here you will enjoy a guided walk in the rainforest amongst ancient Kauri trees while your guide helps you identify different plant and animal species.

Heading out to the rugged west coast we take you to a scenic location to feast on a kiwi-style picnic lunch before walking clifftop tracks to experience the stunning views over the Tasman coastline.

Next, it's off to the regenerating rainforest where you will be treated to picturesque views of a cascading waterfall surround by giants fern and palm trees.

Along the way, you will get the opportunity to take a walk along a black sand beach to watch the waves rolling in.

We are the local experts running tours in this area for over 36 years and are keen to help answer your questions and will make sure you have plenty of awesome photo opportunities.
