Highlights
- Spend your day exploring the wild and beautiful Coromandel.
- Hike the coastal track into the majestic Cathedral Cove. Option to swim in this beautiful beach. (Must be able to walk for 2 hours)
- Dig your own spa in the natural springs at Hot Water Beach
- Summit Mount Paku for amazing views.
- Visit one of the local cafes or breweries for lunch (Not Included)
Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as we travel through the country and watch the sun rise over rural New Zealand.
The early start allows us to stop for a coffee, and still arrive in the Coromandel with the day to explore.
The tour varies, as we have to be at Hot Water Beach for low tide, but a typical day is as per the itinerary below.
After an epic day of hiking, swimming and spa-ing, with stunning beaches and views all day long, we are sure you'll sleep well.
Itinerary
- 6.30am - 7.00am: Pick ups from Central Auckland
- 7.00am - 9.00am: Drive to Tairua, with one Coffee Stop / Toilet Break
- 9.00am -10.00am: Summit Mount Paku for awesome views. (About a 20 minute climb up)
- 10.30am - 1.00pm: Hike the coastal track into the majestic Cathedral Cove, swim, sunbathe or just relax and take photos in this beautiful bay
- 1.00pm -2.00pm: Lunch stop at one of the local cafes in the area. Options range from $12 - $25. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch
- 2.00pm - 3.30pm: Dig your own Spa at the natural springs at Hot Water Beach.(Once in a life time opportunity and epic bucket list experience)
- 3.30pm - 6.30pm: Return to Auckland, arriving back in Auckland in time for dinner

Großartiger Tag
Der Ausflug nach Coromandel war einfach fantastisch! Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend wurden angefahren, trotzdem saß man nicht zu viel im Auto und hatte genügend Zeit alle Orte in Ruhe zu besuchen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, die Bedürfnisse aller wurden berücksichtigt und man hatte nie das Gefühl, etwas zu vermissen. Auch unser Guide Clay war ein total gelassener cooler Typ, mit dem wir viel Spaß hatten. Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung!

Wundervoller Tag
Im Großen und Ganzen ein gelungener Tag. Wir waren nur 5 Personen, was sich als sehr angenehm herausstellte. Unser Tourguide Clay war sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam. Das buddeln am Strand war anstrengenden, aber hat sich gelohnt! Dieser Trip ist eine Erfahrung für's Leben. Nur zu empfehlen!

Sehr coole Tour!
Unser Fahrer "Bones" war top. Er hat auf der Strecke sehr viel erzählt von den einzelnen Gebieten und Landschaften. Auch die drei Spots waren wirklich sehenswert. Einziges Manko war, dass es keine inkludierte Verpflegung gab, wobei im Restaurant der Burger wirklich sehr gut war.

Coromandel in einem Tag
Schöne kleine Gruppe. Clay, unser Reiseführer für den Tag, hat wirklich alles getan um uns das beste von Coromandel zu zeigen. Wir bekamen sogar noch einen Tag vorher eine Email mit den genauen Zeiten damit wir auch bei Ebbe an den Hot Water Beach sein konnten. Clay war super nett und man konnte sich gut mit im unterhalten. Wir hatten leider nicht viel Zeit Coromandel zu sehen daher war diese Tagestour perfekt für uns um alles wichtige zu sehen.

Ein unglaublich schöner Tag
Sue war unsere Begleitung, fachkundig, offen und zuvorkommend! Eine wunderbare Person! Die Truppe war nett und das Wetter hat gepasst! Es war bisher der schönste Trip, besonders Cathedral Cove ist ein Traum!!! Unbedingt ist Kiwi Day Tours weiter zu empfehlen!!!!
