First timers at Crystal Mountain and although it was a cloudy day with slight rain, we enjoyed all the activities, kids had a blast. We also loved the museum at the end and of course taking home some beautiful crystals. Recommended 100% for under 13s.
I like the interaction with the animals, the rides and indoor activities as well
This place suitable for all age groups. We went there every term break.
We had 4 kids with us 4-8 years and they all had a great time! We spent 4.5 hours here between the animal, rides and play area. We found everything in close proximity so was great to go back and forth to everything. Facilities clean and the food was priced well and yum. All staff were really friendly. Highly recommend all. We’ll definitely be back!

Great day out
We went during the school holidays. We live in South Auckland so made sure to make a day of it and it was my 7yr olds first time. You get a time schedule at entry so it’s great to factor in the rides if you’re wanting to get on those. Pay for the animal feed it’s worth it going around to see and feed all the animals. When it started to rain we headed inside to the indoor playground this was a big hit although seating was limited for the adults with a cafe. He also loved the panning for crystals at the end. It’s like butterfly creek/small version of chipmunks. Overall great experience for the kids with a little bit of everything
