The Museum houses an extensive range of nautical and historical artifacts that represent New Zealand maritime history from the earliest Polynesian arrivals - right through to modern-day yachting triumphs.

At midday each day a cannon is fired, and watch out - its louder than you think!

Interactive, educational and truly memorable, the Maritime Museum is sure to be a hit with young and old alike.

“The highlight of the day was definitely the sail under the harbour bridge. Manned by volunteers who were the friendliest and most enthusiastic bunch yet. As visitors to New Zealand we felt like we had hit the jackpot.” – TATAustralia

Sailing the Auckland Harbour

A wonderful trip across the Auckland Harbour and under the Harbour Bridge. The weather was beautiful which made the experience so much better. The crew we had were a great bunch and had us raising and lowering the sails when necessary. The young kids loved it and so did we oldies. Highly recommended.
